[Kili has had 74 days similar to this one in his life, but this particular day, this 75th birthday, celebrates his coming of age. It's the day when he transitions from a boy to a man.
He doesn't sleep all that much just because he's too excited. Fili's trying to be quiet, but Kili can hear all too well when his brother slips out of bed to help their mother and when he returns late that night. But it's finally almost here! Now everyone has to stop treating him like a child!
